- Clauses and Provisions Westover ARB Diagram for EOD High Density Rolling Mobility Storage June 9, 2017 Combined Synopsis Solicitation: Title: Mobile Shelving System This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; submissions are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, labor, and other items and services necessary to satisfy government requirements. The Solicitation Number is: F5N3C67037AW01. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the following: Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005 -95, effective 19 January 2017 DFARS Publication Notice (DPN) 20161222, effective 22 December 2016 Air Force Federal Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2017 -0127, effective 27 January 2017 _____________________________________________________________________________________ NAICS code: 337215 Size Standard: 500 Product Code 7125 Set Aside: This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. (See FAR 52.212-1 for further definition) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Description of Requirement: Line Item 0001 Description: High Density Mobile Rolling Shelf system Quantity #1 This requirement is to purchase a high density mobile rolling shelf system the shelving system will be used for storage of deployment and base support equipment packages and will need to be of heavy duty construction. The shelving should be at least 95" tall not to exceed 108" tall and 16 feet long with the track running a length of 20 feet. The first shelving unit should be fixed and all the other shelves roll and collapse to make a lockable sealed box. The inner units will allow you to reach all the way through to the other side, but the first and last units you will not be able to reach through as they will have the full back panel on the shelving unit. All units should be 24" deep heavy duty 18 gauge steel or thicker. The shelves should run straight thru back to back on the double faced carriages totaling a 48" shelf with full metal back panels. They should also be installed with mechanical safety sweeps (brakes) as an added safety feature in addition to the locking pins in the 3 spoke handles. Delivered turnkey install. Any resultant award will be made to the lowest priced offeror providing a technically acceptable offer. Addendum FAR 52.212-1- Instructions to Offerors - Commercial: Period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation. 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Oct 2014), The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -Commercial Items: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Each offeror shall ensure the provision at FAR 52.212-3, including its Alternate I, Vendors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, (Jan 2017 ), are updated at www.sam.gov. Failure to obtain SAM registration May result in submissions not being considered for award.
