- Revise Performance Work Statement, answer contractor questions and extend date for receipt of proposal to 13 June 2017 at 2:00pm CT. Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD) has an on-site Fire Department Training requirement. The objective of this effort is to provide the following training to the PCD Fire Department. The contractor shall provide 20 PCD Fire Department personnel with all training requirements needed to meet Pro Board and International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) certification for Rope Rescue I and II, Confined Space I and II, Vehicle Extrication rescues and hazards in accordance with the required standards of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1670, 1006, and 1983. All PCD Fire Department personnel who will participate in the required training must have completed prerequisites to include: 1. Non-expired CPR card 2. Non-expired First Aid Card (or higher level of EMS Provider) 3. Hazardous Materials Awareness National Certification (IFSAC or ProBoard) All courses shall be based on NFPA 1006 "Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications." All courses shall meet requirements for IFSAC and ProBoard certifications. Courses shall provide responders with a comprehensive understanding of accidents involving rope rescue (high/low angle), confined space, and vehicle extrication rescues and hazards. Courses shall teach the responder how to recognize the hazard, access the victim, and stabilize the victim and the proper procedures for retrieval. Courses shall provide both practical and classroom sessions and provide realistic training evolutions using the latest in equipment and techniques. All training shall be conducted on-site at Pueblo Chemical Depot by personnel qualified to perform the requirements. Pueblo Chemical Depot shall provide a classroom area for course delivery and an area to conduct training and testing.
