Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Bureau of Land Management, Utah State Office, West Desert District, is seeking a quote to outfit three BLM Law Enforcement Vehicles with lights, flashers, sirens, radios, equipment, etc. The BLM currently has two equipped Dodge Power Wagons with some equipment that can be transferred to the new vehicles and one Ford F250 that has very little equipment to be transferred. The BLM intends to use all compatible and operable equipment that is not outdated or damaged as part of this requirement. Because the Government will be transporting the vehicle to and from the installation location, the Government will factor in travel costs for evaluation purposes. The solicitation number is L17PS00652 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811118 with a small business size standard of $7.5M. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit proposals. The contractor shall complete the contract 21 days from the date of contract award. The Government intends to make an award to the responsible offer whose quote represents the best value to the Government using the trade-off process. To obtain details for this project, contractors shall search under L17PS00652 at www.fedconnect.net. Bidders shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the documents. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification. Proposals are due by: 2:00 P.M. Mountain Time on 23 June 2017 to jsneddon@blm.gov, cc: lgunn@blm.gov. Electronic offers required.
