- Synopsis for Executive Suite Renovation for the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) at 301 7th Street, SW Washington, DC 20407 Solicitation HSHQDC-17-Q-00241 The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Departmental Operations Acquisitions Division (DOAD) has a requirement to acquire renovation services for the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) Executive Suite in room 3600 in the Regional Office Building (ROB) located at 301 7th Street, SW in Washington, DC. The contractor shall provide electrical, cabling, general construction and demolition services to complete the project. Services shall include but are not limited to painting, repairing, cleaning, and installing the ceiling grid, ACT, and light fixtures to align with the floor plan and address visible defects. Services shall also include lock changes, lighting upgrades, diffuser replacement, installation or relocation of data and telecomm equipment, partition construction, and the demolition of items as needed to complete the project. The offeror's quotation shall include all items and services required for the completion of the work. Offerors shall use the floor plans that will be provided in the request for quotation (RFQ) to identify adjacencies, scale, and location of the furniture, walls, and doors to assist in planning modifications to the reflected ceiling plan (i.e. ACT, grid, lighting, fire safety, etc.) and to plan the location or modification of the power and cable in accordance with DHS standards. The contractor shall also coordinate the procurement of the office furniture. The estimated period of performance is ninety (90) days from the notice to proceed (NTP) to complete the work. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This acquisition is being solicited as a women-owned small business. The source selection process to be utilized for this acquisition is lowest price technically acceptable. Past performance will be an evaluation factor. Offerors shall email quotations to the contracting officer (CO). The submission requirements will be defined in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The contractor shall register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that is not registered or in the process of registering in the SAM database. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the contracting officer at evron.rollins@hq.dhs.gov. Interested women-owned small businesses may email the contracting officer. The solicitation will be issued on or around June 29, 2017. No documents shall be made available prior to the issuance of the solicitation.
