Description

Sources Sought for Repair Parking Lot at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan This publication is a formal Sources Sought action seeking qualification statements from vendors interested in providing repairs/replacement of pavement, concrete, and gutters in commercial parking lot. Project is anticipated as a small-business set-aside assigned to NAICS Code 238990: All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. Qualified vendors must be capable to provide specialized plumbing services in accordance with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) construction guidelines, specifications, and national safety codes. This Sources Sought announcement is being issued to determine the interest, availability, and capability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned (VOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), and Small Business (SB) concerns related to work as described below: Project Scope: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, work equipment qualified supervision to remove and repair to various location of the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, MI. Work involves the removal and replacement of drive curbs, removal of asphalt and concrete, replacement of storm water catch basins, installation of 10,00sq/ft. of new base, and repair and replacement of topsoil and sod impacted by project. The Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Place of Performance is as follows: Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center 325 East H Street Iron Mountain, MI 49801 This is a SOURCES-SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned (VOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), and Small Business (SB) with the capabilities to perform the required work A formal FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) solicitation is anticipated to be posted on, or about, July 21st, 2017; proposals will be due thirty (30) calendar days after the solicitation has been posted. All interested parties should submit a capabilities package to include: 1. Proof of Small Business status under NAICS Code 238990 2. Examples of (3) projects including: Similar work completed within the last five years Performance of at least 20% of the work with staff within the organization Projects in the same range (or more) in magnitude. *Provide a customer point of contact for each project listed Electronic versions of your capabilities statement shall be submitted VIA EMAIL ONLY to justus.klink@va.gov.
