Description

Please see the Sources Sought notice files attached to this posting. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 711110 and 711310 with size standards of $11.0M and $32.5M respectively. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, can perform the project, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127.   Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement or Request for Proposal (RFP) may be published on FBO or GSA eBuy or both. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22, is seeking sources for a contractor to provide performing arts theatre management services in the form of an operating lease agreement for the two (2) historic performing arts theatres known as the Brentwood Theatre (Building 211, Parcel 16) and the Wadsworth Theatre (Building 226, Parcel 50), collectively known as the VA West Los Angeles Campus Theatres, and located on the 388-acre West Los Angeles Campus at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90073. An Industry Day, along with a site visit, is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2017 at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, West Los Angeles Campus located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Wadsworth Theatre, Building 226. Industry Day registrations are due by email no later than Friday, July 14, 2017 at 5:00 PM, to Thomas Payne at thomas.payne2@va.gov.
