Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. No responses are required. This notice is to announce that VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) has an impending requirement for off-site valet parking and transportation services for Veterans and visitors due to major on-campus construction activity at the VASDHS main campus. Contractor shall be able to accommodate up to a 1200 valet vehicle capacity at their parking facility(s) and may be required to transport Veterans / visitors from the contracted facility to and from the VASDHS main campus. The impending solicitation will include one contract line item number (CLIN) for 600 spaces with 2 additional, optional CLINs, one for an additional 600 vehicle capacity and one for transportation services to accommodate the additional 600 vehicle capacity (whether at one lot or multiple lots) for the base and first two option years only. In option years three (3) and four (4), it is anticipated that some on-campus parking will become available and the need will be reduced to a 600 valet vehicle capacity. After the fourth option period, VASDHS anticipates having sufficient parking for Veterans, visitors and staff. A solicitation will be issued on or about July 13, 2017.
