Description
Synopsis for FES PPE Care and Maintenance Services The United States Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio is announcing its intent to solicit proposals under Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8056-17-R-0006. This solicitation is to provide Care and Maintenance Services to Fire Emergency Services (FES) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the United States Air Force (USAF) fire fighters within the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside United States (OCONUS). The solicitation will be issued under NAICS code 813332, Industrial Laundering. The business size standard is $38.5 million. The Government anticipates accomplishing three (3) independent source selections under one (1) solicitation. It is anticipated that each source selection will result in the Government awarding one (1) of three (3) single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, one (1) award in each of the following Regions: •§ Region 1 (West) includes West CONUS and PACAF (e.g., Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, and Korea •§ Region 2 (Central) includes Central CONUS and Honduras •§ Region 3 (East) includes East CONUS, Puerto Rico, Greenland, and USAFE (e.g., Azores, Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Turkey) The three Regions will be 100% set-aside for participation by small businesses. An offeror may propose on up to any two (2) Regions under this acquisition. Each Region requires Offerors to submit separate, complete proposals. The effective period for each IDIQ contract will be five (5) years and six months consisting of five (5) one-year ordering periods and one (1) six-month extension option. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All potential offerors are advised to thoroughly review the instructions in Section L (52.212-1 and its Addendum) and the evaluation criteria described in Section M (52.212-2 and its Addendum) of the solicitation, and well as all future documents that may include changes. AFICA will award contracts in accordance with the evaluation procedures established in the Final RFP. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the evaluation team. The USAF is not responsible for notifying any interested parties of the solicitation beyond this notice. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the official government point of entry, www.fbo.gov, for further updates and instructions.
