- Sources Sought - Synopsis The Federal Protective Service (FPS) is seeking information regarding the capabilities of vendors to provide security equipment maintenance and installation at the Ronald Reagan Building located in Washington DC. The prospective effort will require a contractor to maintain and repair the existing security equipment which consists of a Closed Circuit Video (CCV) system with over 200 Vicon analog and IP cameras, an Access Control System (ACS) with over 200 MDI brand card readers as well as Intrusion Detection Systems and Video Intercom Systems. In addition, the existing 160 analog cameras may be replaced with IP cameras using CAT 6 cabling and fiber, and the existing Access Control System may be replaced in its entirety. The contractor will be required to possess a facility clearance level of Secret. The purpose of this Request for Information is to measure commercial interest and ability to meet the requirements of the FPS. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply of service whatsoever. Further, FPS is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. Interested parties are directed to respond to this RFI and provide a response on the capabilities in relation to this requirement. The response should include the following information: 1) Company name and address as well as their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number; a point of contact with phone number and email address 2) In narrative format, a detailed description of the work the company that has performed in the last three years (as well as references) in relation to large scale security equipment maintenance and installation of ACS and CCV systems similar to what is being described in this RFI. This narrative should include any applicable contract numbers, dollar amounts of the work performed, periods of performance, subcontractors etc. 3) The highest facility clearance level (e.g. Secret, Top Secret) currently possessed by the respondent contractor. Responses are due no later than 3:00 pm EST on June 28, 2017. Responses or any questions regarding this RFI shall be sent to Corey Parkes at corey.parkes@hq.dhs.gov indicating the RFI number in the subject line.
