Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 16 Contracting Activity, intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Small Business (SB) source, PROAIM Americas, LLC dba PROAIM Medical for the items listed below. PROAIM Americas, LLC is an authorized distributor for Zeiss. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339115. This procurement will be made pursuant to FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The contracting officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the contracting officer. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks 1110 North College Avenue Fayetteville, AR 72703 Description of Equipment Requirements: 2 each - Carl Zeiss Visucam 524 w/Printer and table 2 each - Carl Zeiss ICG License (Only for VC NM/FA Rev 2, Starting S/N: 1103500 1 each - Zeiss OS Visucam 224 w/Printer and Table This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. Anticipated date of award is Friday, June 16, 2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements and whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
