- COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS FOR TELETRONICS TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION (TTC) TO PROVIDE DATA ACQUISITION PRODUCTS The AFTC/PZIEA, Edwards AFB, California, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for purchase of Data Acquisition Products to TTC, under the authority of 10 United States Code (USC) 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This authority is supported by an approved Sole Source letter. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. Anticipated award date is 21 June 2017. This requirement is for: 1. Multiplexer Assembly (5 I/O slots) with GPS time code and single internal recorder cartridge slot; 1 each 2. Network-based High Speed Camera Unit; 1 each 3. 2 Channel 100/1000 Base-T Ethernet Card; 1 each 4. Stand-Alone Decom, Bit Sync, Simulator, USB 2.0 Peripheral; 1 each 5. 30 Watt power supply with +5VDC and +/- 15VDC; 1 each 6. 4 Amp MIL-STD 461 power filter for use with MPSM-2515-2 power supply module; 1 each 7. Adaptable Pre-Modulation Filter Module for use with MMCI-105 or MMEI-105 (5 Mbps NRZ-L operation); 1 each 8. Miniature Master CAIS-Bus Interface with expanded format memory; 1 each 9. Remote CAIS-BUS Interface; 1 each 10. CAIS INTERFACE Module; 1 each 11. Miniature GPS Conditioning Module with battery back-up Real Time Clock (RTC); 1 each 12. 4 channel Signal Conditioner; 2 each 13. 2 Channel PCM input module for use with miniature IRIG-106 Chapter 10 recorder1 each 14. Miniature IRIG-106 Chapter 10 multiplexer/recorder; 1 each 15. 4-Channel AC-Coupled Signal Conditioning Module; 2 each The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220. Small Business size standard is: 1,250 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, TTC's design is proprietary with a complex collection of Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) subsystem components. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 and DFARS DPN 20161222. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. AFTC has appointed an Ombudsman to hear concerns from potential offerors relating to this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman, but rather the Contracting Officer identified as Mr. Tylan J. McBride.
