- AWARD DATE: 15 June, 2017 MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY - 2017 JUNE CONTRACT ANNOUNCEMENT Gryphon Technologies LLC, Huntsville, Alabama is being awarded a $57,675,835 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract, including options for Sea Based X-Band (SBX) Radar Mission Integration. This contract provides for communication operations and support for the SBX Strategic Mission. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; and in Honolulu, Hawaii with an expected completion date of 14 June 2024. Fiscal year 2017 RDT&E funds in the amount of $4,000,000 are being obligated at time of award. This contract was a competitive acquisition and two offers were received.
