- Description
- This project specifies the following work: The construction site is located on the same site as the existing wooden tower on Range 122. The following work has to be performed: - Demolition and disposal of the existing control tower in wooden construction, two-story construction on foundation, approx. 0.3 m above terrain, base area approx. 4.1 x 4.1 m, height approx. 6.3 m above foundation. Including demolition and disposal of interior wooden stairs, access landing (wood), floor and all other components. Existing steel balcony and foundations remain. Balcony construction will be stabilized and the foundation will be exchanged partly. Demolition and disposal of all strip foundations (approx. 0.5 x 1.2 m and length 16 m), related foundation/floor slabs (each approx. 14 sqm, approx. 0.3 m thick). Dismantle and load metal parts (small pitch roof approx. 1.5 x 0.6 x 0.3 m). All metal parts become property of the contractor. - Earth and drainage work for the new control tower. Rain water drainage takes place by infiltration into the terrain. - Level and adjust the ground around the control tower and to the existing terrain (e.g. with adequate standard compliant embankment slope, water drainage). Restore respectively realign the terrain affected by the construction to the original condition. - Prepare electrical connection to existing power distribution. - Construct foundations for the tower and the extend balcony. - Erect the control tower approx. 4.08 m x 3.30 m, as building made of prefabricated containers which are connected force fitting inside. The building consists of self-supporting and readily installed room units. It is a buckling resistant steel building construction with inside and outside covering respectively surface structure construction. - Erect aggregate for the air condition system in Level 1. - Extend balcony and connect the entire balcony to the new building. - Make Level 2 accessible by an exterior stairway with steel grating steps. - Electrical and data/telecommunication connection of the building to existing utilities systems. - Entire electrical installation (400/230V and 208/110V), data/telephone installation, communication system and connection outlets in the new building. - Install electrical heating and air condition system. - Install grounding and lightning protection system. - Final cleaning of the building. - Construct ten new target pits. The pits consist of prefabricated concrete elements and hardwood beams of various lengths. The construction of the target pits require earth work. - Construct cable ditches and install electrical and data cables for the connection of the new target pits to the existing power and data system at the range. - Install electrical receptacle boxes, cable junction boxes (data) and grounding bus bars at the new target emplacements. - Repair walkways and install gravel <20 mm at the 10 m long walkpath to the targets. - Install gravel layer and plastic grid elements. - Repair wooden target pits. - Install square timbers as protection. - Install protection berms and square timbers at the front side of the prefabricated elements.
