STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) USCG CompTIA Security+ July 24 - 28, 2017 1.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Provide instructional and hands on training (one classroom and one virtual training) in preparation for the CompTIA Security+ exam. The price includes all literature, handouts, and travel for instructors and certificates upon completion of courses. The CompTIA Security+ exam will certify the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to install and configure systems to secure applications, networks, and devices; perform threat analysis and respond with appropriate mitigation techniques; participate in risk mitigation activities; and operate with an awareness of applicable policies, laws, and regulations. The successful candidate will perform these tasks to support the principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. 1.1 LOCATION OF COURSES: USCG Base Honolulu 400 Sand Island Access Road Honolulu, HI 96819 Virtual On Line Course for USCG Sector Guam 1.2 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Five (5) Day classroom instruction scheduled July 24 - 28, 2017. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Five (5) Day virtual training session scheduled July 17 - 21, 2017. Monday - Friday ChST (Chamorro Standard Time) UTC/GMT + 10 hours 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK: 2.1 Contractor shall provide the following: 2.1.1 Training materials 2.1.2 Certificates 2.1.3 Instructors 2.1.4 Computer Workstations (if needed) 2.2 USCG Base Honolulu: 2.2.1 Classroom to support a maximum of 13 students 2.2.2 A/V capability 2.3 USCG Sector Guam: 2.3.1 Virtual training to support a maximum of 4 students 2.3.2 Online platform 2.4 Base Honolulu access will be coordinated through LTJG Conrad Boucher, Base Honolulu (808) 842-0831 Email: conrad.m.boucher@uscg.mil 2.5 Upon completion of the course, the Contractor shall remove/dispose of any debris or trash related to the hand on instruction and in accordance with City/State solid waste disposal regulations. 2.6 No additional services are to be performed beyond the current scope of the course. Any additional requirements must be approved and coordinated through the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer to modify the purchase order before performed. 3.0 USCG, FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS: 3.1 All rules and regulations issued by the USCG governing safety, environmental compliance, vehicle operations, sanitations and other regulations shall be observed by the Contractor at all times. 4.0 DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY: 4.1 Any damage caused by the contractor to Government property shall be corrected. 5.0 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS: 5.1 Provide and maintain environmental protection during the life of the contract to control pollution or correct conditions that develop during performance of the contract. Comply with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations pertaining to water, air and noise pollution. 6.0 SAFETY AND SECURITY: 4.1 The course is instructed on U.S. Government Property. All rules and regulations issued by the Commanding Officer covering safety, vehicle operation and sanitation must be observed by the Contractor and their employees at all times. 4.2 All personnel employed on the site shall keep within the limits of the work and shall not enter any restricted area unless authorized. The Contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked and identified to denote not US Government Property. 4.3 The Contractor shall control its employee's traffic on site. Parking for workers shall be at a suitable location as determined by the COR. 4.4 The Contractor shall comply with Federal, State and Coast Guard Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. When standards differ, the more stringent shall apply. The Contractor shall report all accidents and property damage to the COR immediately. 4.5 The Contractor shall be responsible for the security of their materials, and equipment. The Government shall not be responsible for any loss of such items. 7.0 QUALIFICATIONS: 7.1 The Contractor will provide two trainings, one classroom and one virtual oriented towards preparation for the CompTIA Security+ certification examination.
