Description
Space Enterprise Vision (SEV) Industry Study Broad Agency Announcement (BAA The purpose of this posting is to solicit for the Space Enterprise Vision (SEV) Industry Study Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). This BAA will be a two-step solicitation. In the first step, the Air Force is requesting 10-page white papers focused on the areas defined in the document as well as a one-page "Non Proprietary Executive Overview". The overview shall be used by SMC/AD to inform strategic planning and Future Year Defense Program planning inputs to Air Force Space Command. White papers will be submitted by 1600 PDT, 10 July, 2017 to be considered for evaluation. All offerors submitting a white paper will receive a notification as to whether or not the white paper was selected for invitation to submit a full proposal. For the second step, complete proposals will be required within thirty (30) calendar days following the white paper selection notifications. Companies which are awarded a contract will complete a 90-day trade study to provide the government a comprehensive space enterprise concept. SMC anticipates awarding five (5) to eight (8) contracts with a value range of $375K to $600K per award. Small and small disadvantaged business participation in this endeavor is encouraged.
