THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This Sources Sought/Request for Information (SS/RFI) notice is being completed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 to conduct market research under FAR 10.002(b). This is not a solicitation for quotes or proposals. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Request for Information is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) - or a promise to issue a RFP or RFQ in the future. All costs associated with responding to this SS/RFI or follow-up information requests will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this SS/RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this SS/RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will NOT be returned. At this time, the suggested NAICS code assigned to this procurement is 517410. The Government is requesting that responsible VOSB or SDVOSB sources respond if they can provide the following items: a digital sign server and players. The Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System utilizes the Hughes Digital Signage System to provide for the timely communication of digital information throughout the healthcare system. It has a requirement for a digital sign server and players that have the following characteristics: Must be compatible with/utilize Hughes digital sign software Must be capable of communicating, managing, controlling and distributing content to remote media players that are utilizing Hughes software. Must be covered by existing Hughes system maintenance task order. Below is a list of all services needed: Installation of Hughes Enterprise MediaGate Server (MGS) Installation of Hughes HS1000M players at all locations Training for staff Interested VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to submit the following information via e-mail: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 517410 and the small business size standard is $32.5M. Responses are to be submitted via e-mail to Arlene A. Blade at arlene.blade@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED REGARDING TO THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.
