Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION notice for solicitation number VA258-17-Q-0100. The Contractor shall provide Companion Care Services to eligible beneficiaries for whom such care is specifically authorized by the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies associated with the full range of Companion Care Services. VA beneficiaries to be cared for under this agreement, as referred by the SAVAHCS, shall receive the Companion Care Services. When the beneficiary no longer requires medical supervision. The purpose of providing Companion Care Services is to provide experienced caregivers to supervise non-medical, private duty home care assistance and transportation from medical facility post procedures. Services include transportation, personal hygiene, bathing (if needed) medication reminder (no dispensing of medications), personal care, ambulation assistance, meal preparation, and overnight stay if needed. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates making multiple awards in the following AZ counties: Cochise, Graham, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yuma. The solicitation period will be open for one year from the date of release; awards will be made at the Government s sole discretion. Interested Offerors are encouraged to provide a quote as soon as possible. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the quote submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments.
