Description

The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals for the award of one Concession Contract to provide guided interpretive whitewater river tours within Canyonlands National Park and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR, Part 51, has determined that the existing concessioner is not a preferred offeror for the Contract. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 by 4:00 p.m. MT on August 25, 2017 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract. The prospectus will be available on the National Park Service Commercial Services website at https://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the prospectus from the NPS website, please notify Jennifer Parker, Chief of Concessions, at jennifer_parker@nps.gov to receive notification of responses to questions or amendments to this Prospectus. The NPS will send any additional information specific to the Prospectus in writing, via email, to interested parties who have been placed on the contact list. Information relative to the solicitation will also be posted to the above mentioned website.
