- LCLSP17Q0023 The Library of Congress (Library) requires contractor support to procure expert environmental management and analysis services to ensure the long-term preservation of its collections. This FY16 work supports the ongoing effort to identify, analyze, and mitigate environmental risks to the permanent collections of the Library when on display or in storage on Capitol Hill or one of several offsite campuses. While Library Conservation Division staff have developed significant expertise in the areas of environmental monitoring and analysis through the use of expert service contracts, continued expert consultation is needed for new construction with the related conservation responsibility to identify climate parameters, testing and control requirements, upgraded HVAC controls and other potential changes that impact collection environments. Interested parties are required to submit their proposals via this FBO posting by its closing date.
