Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, sole source contract to install leased special equipment necessary for a secondary disinfection system with Mono-Chloramine generators for the domestic hot and cold water systems, to perform system surveillance, period testing, lab analysis, recalibration, responsible for obtaining installation permits from FDEP/Health Department and required preventive maintenance to secondary disinfection system and equipment for the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and its Community-Based Outpatient Clinics and Hospice to R&M Government Services Inc., 650 Montana Ave., Suite A, Las Cruces, NM 88001, This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to R&M Government Services Inc., a VIP Verified SDVOSB, under FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute, Veterans First Contracting Program, as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128 (Pub. L. 109-461, as amended), implemented under subpart 819.70, is in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS Code that applies to this procurement is 325998; the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes, competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 PM EST on June 26, 2017.
