- Industry Day Notice General Information: NAICS Code: 541513 Description: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to conduct an Industry Day to continue industry dialogue regarding the upcoming Agency-Wide Information Technology (IT) services and Support acquisition that will provide the full range of IT support services necessary to meet the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) strategic goals consistent with DoD policies and industry best practices. Consistent with the IT industry Service Models, this acquisition will include support for Continual Service Improvement (CSI), Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Operations. DTRA is planning to award one or more 5 or 10 year contracts to support this requirement. The purpose of this Industry Day is to discuss the specific goals and objectives of the future solicitation and to obtain comments and recommendations relative to the Draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). The acquisition approach, including participation requirements, possible evaluation criterion and contractor selection procedures will also be discussed. The Government will be posting answers to questions provided with RFI (HDTRA1-IT-18REQ) responses as well as updated SOOs in a follow up to this announcement. Dates for Industry Days: July 20-21, 2017 Day 1, Thursday, July 20, 2017 Time: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Location: Embassy Suites 8100 Loisdale Rd. Springfield, VA 22150 Day 2, Friday, July 21, 2017 Time: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Location: Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA HQ) Conference Room C 8725 John J. Kingman Rd. Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 (You will be met in the DTRA lobby at a prearranged time) The Industry Day Agenda is included below. Participating attendee lists, copies of the Industry Day presentation and all submitted Questions will be posted promptly after the event concludes. Due to the limited amount of space, only three (3) representatives from each company will be allowed to attend. The Government will host One-on-One breakout sessions. Each session will have a duration of 20 minutes. To maximize the value of the One-on-One sessions participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions and specific recommendations regarding the work scope description, the technical requirements, or the acquisition approach. These sessions are not intended to assess the qualifications of the participants, so please do not use this available time for marketing or capability briefings. The specific purpose of these sessions are to allow industry participants to (1) learn more about the requirement, and (2) provide inputs and recommendations regarding the acquisition approach and description of the requirement. After registration you will receive an email confirming the time slot we were able to allocate based on the slots available when your request was received.
