Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) Only The Social Security Administration is seeking sources for Mail Room Services in the Seattle, WA Regional Office, 701 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104, including preparation, sorting, and distribution of daily incoming and outgoing flat mail and packages, to determine the availability of potential small business contractors. Potential Offerors having the skill, capabilities, facilities, personnel, and management necessary to provide mail room services are invited to provide feedback by posting to FedConnect or by email to Ms. Marilyn Keck at Marilyn.Keck@SSA.gov. The NAICS code for this service is 561499. A fixed price contract is anticipated. The duration of this requirement is anticipated to be one base year with four one-year options. This requirement is planned for release in July 2017. Project Description: Mail room Services - The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, supervision and other related services necessary to provide services on a daily basis. Capability Statement: The following is designed to apprise SSA of any prospective small businesses capabilities to execute the requirement. Please provide your information to the following: 1. Offeror's name, address, Point of Contact, phone number, and email address. 2. Offeror's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3. Offeror's business size certified status, number of years in business, and DUNS number 4. Offeror's capability statement demonstrating the Offeror's ability to perform comparable work within the last five (5) years - a brief description of the project, customer name, phone number, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar value. Please provide three examples. The capabilities statement for this RFI is not a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or a Request for Quote, not does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. The Government is seeking short statements regarding the Offeror's ability to demonstrate existing or developed expertise, past performance, and experience in relation to the requirement specified herein. Submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any future offerings but will assist SSA in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. The Government will not pay for any information or materials provided in response to this RFI.
