Description

Campground Attendant Contractors ensure that the Lake Mendocino Ky-en Campground will be staffed seven (7) days a week during period of performance. The Ky-en Campground is located at the north end of Lake Mendocino, approximately eight (8) miles north of the city of Ukiah, California, and about five (5) miles from Park Headquarters (Lake Mendocino Headquarters). The campground consists of 101 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern poles. There are four restrooms, an entrance station, a sewage dump station, and an amphitheater. Lake Mendocino annually receives about four million visitor hours of use and is the most visited Army Corps of Engineers project in California. From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, the campgrounds are usually filled to capacity every weekend.
