- THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for Patient Satisfaction Measurement service for VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care System (VISN 6) with locations in Virginia and North Carolina. Please note that this Request for Information (RFI) is for information only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement are invited to submit information describing their capability to provide the required services. OVERVIEW: The requirement is for a comprehensive patient satisfaction measurement service for VISN 6). The service will consist of the development of inpatient and outpatient and specialty care satisfaction survey instruments that include customized questions for the VISN 6 facilities as well as questions that permit benchmarking to other VA and non-VA facilities. Additionally, the service will have the ability of trending and analyzing VSIN 6 patient satisfaction data from the past 3 Fiscal Years to allow for data alignment, comparison, and the identification of trends associated with calendar events in the past. The service will also identify top improvement priorities by area and provide best practices around opportunities for improvement. The primary goal is to improve patient satisfaction by having a service that provides real-time feedback, identifies the root cause of dissatisfaction, and offers solutions for progress. A determination by the VA not to open the requirement to open competition, based on responses to this sources sought synopsis is solely within the discretion of the VA. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis.
