- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT. IT IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOR DOES IT GUARANTEE A SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted to this Sources Sought is strictly voluntary. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that may be submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought. This Notice is a request by the Government to collect information from companies for the purpose of Market Research. Not providing a response to this Sources Sought will not prohibit/exclude your company from participating in any future solicitations. The National Park Service, Yellowstone National Park is considering issuing a Request for Quote for a firm-fixed priced contract with a period of performance of July 24 to October 1, 2017 to replace all the shear pin bearing housing assembles on six of our Kodiak rotary snowplows. Shall be manufactured to OEM standards in fit, finish, material hardness, and spline count and brand name or equal to Kodiak America part # P4-D66-5 (Double flanged splined shear pin with bearing housing). Interested vendors shall submit, at minimum, a capability statement, company name, company point of contact, address, DUNs, email address and phone number by 11:00AM MDT on June 29, 2017. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-JUN-2017); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
