Description

Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) is awarding a Purchase Order for the repair and calibration of the following equipment: 15 each SENSOR, SETRA MODEL 470-T ASN: S100-1A6A1-1. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, SETRA SYSTEMS, INC. These devices are manufactured by Setra Systems as commercial off-the-shelf devices. They maintain all data rights to these devices. Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search failed to identify any small business available to compete for this required repair and calibration service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS code ‘334513' with key words: ‘repair, Setra, pressure sensor'; and just key words: ‘repair, Setra, pressure sensor'; and ‘repair, 470-T, pressure sensor'. A search of "repair Setra model 470-T pressure sensor" and "repair Setra pressure sensor" in GSA's eLibrary also returned no matches. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-JUN-2017); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
