- Notice of Intent to Sole Source On-Site Tool & Equipment Calibration for Hoover Dam This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation. As provided under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), this project will be solicited on a noncompetitive basis as "Only one source is reasonably available to satisfy the agency's requirements". The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a single firm-fixed price purchase order to Electronic Metrology Laboratory, LLC. (EML) located in Franklin, TN. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for calibration services of tools and electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and devices. The services shall be completed on-site by the EML via a self-contained mobile laboratory and qualified technicians Calibrations shall be completed in five days or less. A Determination to Solicit Sole Source is being prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price 5 year BPA be awarded no later than July 10, 2017. Questions and other documents maybe submitted to Jennalyn Schilke via e-mail to jschilke@usbr.gov.
