- : ***UPDATE ATTACHMENT *** RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS*** THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY NO SOLICITATION CURRENTLY EXISTS FOR THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR DETAILED INFORMATION The US Navy is looking for an IFR certifiable single turbine engine helicopter based off of FAA 14 CFR Part 27 and 91 Type or Supplemental Type Certification to train students.. Below are key characteristics (Requirements) the Navy is considering, with required performance identified under Description/Qualifying Performance. In addition, the Navy requests information identified for each key characteristic (where applicable). Supporting documentation (i.e. information used or available through a Type Certification, Supplemental Type Certification, specifications, etc.) and any non-compliance with the requirements listed below is also requested to quantify the costs provided in response to this RFI. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336411 Aircraft Manufacturing, which has a Small Business Size Standard of 1,500 employees. The applicable product service code is 1520. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in its submission. Joint venture and teaming arrangements are acceptable. In order to ensure a submission receives a review, the delivery must occur no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT on June 23, 2017 to the contract specialist, La ™Venji Daniels, lavenji.daniels@navy.mil with a copy to the PCO, Erin Young erin.b.young@navy.mil, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF). Emails larger than 7MB in size may not be received. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted. This request is for informational purposes only. All data received in response to this RFI that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government. The Government does not intend, nor is it under any obligation, to provide responses or comments on submissions. All questions regarding this RFI notice must be submitted via email to La ™Venji Daniels, lavenji.daniels@navy.mil with a copy to Erin Young at erin.b.young@navy.mil. No questions will be accepted by phone. Government responses to submitted questions pertaining to this Sources Sought notice will be posted on FedBizOpps.
