- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Consultative Medication Safety Risk Assessment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 (Effective 19 Jan 2017). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541690 (Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services) with a small business size standard of $15.0 million in annual income. This acquisition is Full and Open to all business sizes. Responses are due by 9:00 a.m., July 10, 2017. Responses must be sent by email to Lisa Schaupp, the Contract Specialist, at the following email address: Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov. The National Institute of Health, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, is seeking to acquire a medication safety risk assessment of the Clinical Center Pharmacy Department's operations by a Patient Safety Organization (PSO) certified by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).The Purchase Order/Contract is anticipated to include for a 12 month period of performance to include all activities regarding the assessment and feedback reports.
