Scope of Work Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center Richmond Virginia Project Name Wireless Pool Alarm Overview: Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, supervision and training as necessary to install a wireless portable alarm system for the Spinal Cord Injury pool area. This work is to comply with current VA standards for hospital construction and patient care. Description of Work: Provide and install Master/Receivers. Provide and program Wireless Waterfront Pendants with adjustable wristbands. Provide and install 3 strobes in areas adjacent to the SCI pool. Work to be completed in accordance with local building codes. This equipment and work must meet or exceed the General Requirements. Areas of Work: Pool area and adjacent areas General Requirements Items: The project design includes and the following bid items: Provide 2 Ciscor Sentry 101 DS Wireless Alarm Systems (Part # Sentry 101) Provide 3 Ciscor Sentry Strobes (Part # STROBE) Provide 30 Ciscor waterproof watch pendant (Part #DS1221S-UL-W) Provide 1 X-ADI 18/4 SOL FPL 5C BX RED (Part # WG-41075504) Train Engineering, OIT and SCI on functions of system Contractor will install alarms, master and slave units and tie into existing power Completion Time: Construction is anticipated to take thirty (30) days after the notice to proceed. Additional notes: Contractor shall field verify all measurements, material quantities, and site conditions prior to submitting a bid. Contractor is responsible for maintaining building life safety standards prescribed through an Interim Life Safety Measure risk assessment permit requirements issued prior to any work beginning. Contractor shall store all materials offsite and only bring materials to be installed the same day to the project site.   Contractor shall protect all existing equipment, utilities, structures, etc. to remain.   When the space is turned over to the contractor, the contractor will be responsible for repairing all damage within the construction site.   If any damage is noticed prior to starting work that may be misconstrued as damage caused by the contractor, the COR shall be notified immediately and the damage documented as existing prior to beginning demolition. Contractor shall perform a pre-final inspection before requesting the final inspection with the COR and include time in their work plan for inspections and to repair any defective work after the final inspection has been made.
