Description
NSN list DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a letter solicitation for this unrestricted requirement to procure multiple sole source, part numbered items. This is a notification that a modification will be issued to add sole source NSNs to the existing Aviall Corporate Contract number SPE4AX13D9427. The FOB point is origin and inspection/acceptance is origin. DLA Aviation Richmond does not currently have an approved technical data package available for these NSNs. The following applies to some of the NSNs and will be addressed in the letter Request for Proposal (RFP) which are: CSI, and export control. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, responders should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the government. It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. (Note: Other Aviation sites will provide their equivalent surplus clause, as applicable). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (michael.massello@dla.mil). The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. All responses must be submitted to David Whitby at david.whitby@dla.mil. Attachment List contains the NSNs and P/N's that will be procured under this notice. NSNs may ultimately get removed from this list as review of the NSNs are conducted.
