Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice as defined in FAR 15.201 (e). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of qualified sources in order to determine an acquisition strategy. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) is requesting information to determine if there is any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business or other Open Market Source that can provide the CDI Blood Parameter Monitoring System 500 to the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with size standard of 500 employees. This requirement shall include the following items: ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 500AHCT/MONITOR WITH 500A AND HCT/SAT PROBE LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: 500 AHCT 2.00 EA 0002 MONITOR POLE CLAMP, 7 INCH ARM LENGTH LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: CDI517 2.00 EA 0003 CABLE HEAD BRACKET LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: CDI519 2.00 EA 0004 CALIBRATOR LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: 540 2.00 EA 0005 GAS A CALIBRATION FOR USE WITH 540PP LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: CDI506 2.00 EA 0006 GAS B CALIBRATION FOR USE WITH 540 LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: CDI507 2.00 EA GRAND TOTAL Essential physical, functional or performance characteristics: Shall have a monitor with a SAT probe Shall have a pole clamp to attach to a cart or heart/lung machine mast Shall have a calibrator for two different gases Shall have the capability to measure pH, Potassium, pCO2 and PO2 in the blood Shall have the capability to accommodate a maximum blood flow rate of at least 1.5 LPM Display shall have the capability to update at least every 6 seconds Qualified parties are invited to respond. Responses shall include the company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, DUNS number and capability statement. E-mail responses to the Contracting Officer at Cristina.lansangan@va.gov no later than June 30, 2017 at 4:00pm PST. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder s list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation, if issued, in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice.
