Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (ACC-RSA) intends to award a Modification to the existing Javelin Weapon System Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) contract, W31P4Q-16-C-0133, under the authority FAR 6.302.1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This effort is for the additional foreign military sales support for Turkey for fiscal year 2017. The period of performance will be from time of award to 28 February 2018. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government intent to award a sole source Modification to Raytheon/Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) under FAR 6.302-1, as an award to any other source other than the JJV would result in a substantial break in support of the additional assets fielded to the United States Army Warfighters and the United States Marine Corps Warfighters.
