- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Product description: IEEE and John Wiley & Sons, Inc., have partnered to offer you online access to more than 850 eBooks via the IEEE Xplore digital library. This eBooks collection spans numerous content areas, including bioengineering, power and energy, and communication technologies, among other growing areas of research. IEEE has partnered with the MIT Press to bring additional high quality eBooks content in computer science and engineering technologies to the IEEE Xplore digital library The library offers online access to more than 675 titles in fields including computer science, artificial intelligence, information theory, computer programming, information technology, and electrical engineering, broadening the research available to your organization in one platform. Product characteristics an equal item must meet to be considered: •Full-text online access to the journals, online conference papers, and industry standards in electrical engineering and computer science. •All content vetted by the major U.S. professional society in electrical engineering, or one of their partner or subsidiary societies or workgroups. •IP authentication (institutional multi-user, single campus subscription) •Search function with faceting, indexes, and export capability. •Individual account creation for saved searches and alerts •Current year of each journal, and back volumes to volume 1 of the respective title, all downloadable in PDF. •All graphical figures and citations of the original full-text article must be available within the digital document (object) that stands for that article. •Librarian-accessible COUNTER-compliant usage data for searches and downloads •One-stop access to more than 850 titles, with approximately 40 new titles introduced each year •Backlist to 1974 with more than 60% of titles published since 2007
