- Request for Information (RFI) This RFI is issued for the purpose of determining market interest, feasibility, and capability of sources. There is no solicitation package available. DLA Document Services HQ seeks to identify qualified sources from Industry for the acquisition of Multi-Functional Devices AND Multi-Functional Printers (MFD and MFP's) with the capacity to copy, print, and scan), print shop equipment, and worldwide logistical support services for Shipboard Multipurpose Copier Program (SMCP). Industry respondents may provide industry best practices and alternatives. The SMCP requires: Class I - Monthly Volume 5,000 - Capability 20 PPM Black/White Class IC - Monthly Volume 1,000 - Capability 15 PPM Color Class II - Monthly Volume 20,000 - Capability 30 PPM Black/White Class III - Monthly Volume 40,000 - Capability 40 PPM Black/White Class IIIC - Monthly Volume 20,000 - Capability 30 PPM Color Class IV - Monthly Volume 90,000 - Capability 50 PPM Black/White SMCP also requires four different classes of print shop equipment: Production Black and White - Monthly Volume 180,000 - Capability 110 PPM Production Color - Monthly Volume - 180,000 - Capability 50 PPM Production Scanner - Production Wide Format Color - Monthly Volume - 145,000 - Capability 45 PPM Color/45 PPM B/W Devices shall be capable of being configured to comply with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide titled SPAN Multi-Function Device (MFD) and Printer STIG (latest version and release), developed by DISA for the DOD. Devices shall capable of using the NT LAN Manager Version 2 (NTLMv2) authentication protocol.
