Description
NOTE: This announcement is intended as a Site Visit Registration only. A formal SIR/RFP has not been released at this time. Interested roofing vendors must register AND attend the site visit to receive the SIR/RFP. NOTE: Please respond to William.bleda@faa.gov for this announcement. (1)INTRODUCTION The estimated price range for this project is $100,000.00 to $200,000.00. The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ has a requirement for construction. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to: Demolish and install a new PVC membrane roof as well as provide other miscellaneous work not mentioned to make the project complete and ready for use. (2) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The FAA anticipates award of a firm, fixed-price contract by late August 2017. The period of performance will be 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). (3) SET-ASIDE INFORMATION This procurement will be unrestricted competition amongst Roofing Contractors. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 238160 “ Roofing Contractors with a Size Standard of $15.0M. (4) PROCUREMENT SCHEDULE Interested Roofing Vendors “ Draft Statement of Work is attached (Attachment I) as a means of outlining the broad scope of the work. This broad scope is to give vendors an idea of the size of the project and the resources it will require. Roofing Vendors interested in being considered for this requirement MUST submit the name, title and phone number of no more than two (2) people who will be attending the site visit, and send it to William.bleda@faa.gov no later than 1:00PM (EST) on July 12, 2017. Specs/Drawings - A full set of specs and drawings will ONLY be provided to those interested roofing vendors who register for and attend the mandatory site visit. Site Visit “ All interested roofing vendors must attend a MANDATORY site visit which is scheduled for 9:00AM (EST) on July 18, 2017. Only roofing vendors who attended the mandatory site visit will be permitted to submit a bid. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in attendance of the site visits or preparing responses to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the site visit or response to the SIR/RFP is solely at the interested vendors ™ expense. (5) Response Requirements Interested roofing vendors must respond to this announcement via email at William.bleda@faa.gov by 1:00PM (EST) on July 12, 2017; late responses will not be considered. Receipt of all responses will be confirmed by the government. Responses must include the following: (a) Name, title, and phone number of no more than two (2) people who will be attending the site visit on behalf of Interested Roofing Vendor (6) OTHER INFORMATION (a) Award of the resultant contract will be made to the responsible lowest price offeror who attended the mandatory site visit. (b) All potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) for consideration of this award. Potential Vendors must be registered in SAM under the Roofing Contractors NAICS - 238160. (c) Potential sources are cautioned that further public announcements may not be made and the SIR/RFP along with associated documents will only be released to vendors who attended the mandatory site visit. (d) A formal question and answer period regarding the complete SIR/RFP Package will open after the site visit once the formal SIR/RFP is released.
