- **SOLICITATION AND SYNOPSIS IS AMENDED. THE NEW CLOSING DATE IS JULY 14, 2017, 2017 AND PURCHASE DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO REFLECT PURCHASE DESCRIPTION VIBB 17-25-1000/1017 DATED jUNE 14, 2017. PLEASE GO THE DIBBS TO OBTAIN THE NEW PURCHASE DESCRIPTION. SYNOPSIS IS AMENDED TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES, THE SOLICITATION IS NOW AVAILABLE ON DIBBS AND TO POST THE OPENING DATE OF JUNE 02, 2017 AND CLOSING DATE OF JULY 3, 2017. The DLA -Aviation-VICA, Industrial Plant Equipment Division, Richmond, VA, intends to procure two new CNC Lathes in accordance with the Purchase Description, VIBB-17-25-1000/1017 dated February 14, 2017. The purchase will include installation, training, technical manuals, IUID Tags and shipping. The purchase requirement will be solicited as unrestricted as to business size. FAR 52.225-5 Trade Agreements applies. The anticipated award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. The award shall be based on technical acceptability, price and past performance. The requested performance is 180 days after receipt of order. FOB at Destination. Inspection is at Origin with Final Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. This synopsis serves to meet the requirements to post solicitations as the RFP is available on DIBBS. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about April 17, 2017. The anticipated closing date is May 5, 2017. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted.
