- DLA Land and Maritime is preparing a one time buy for NSN: 6140-01-426-3984. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only the approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approved source is Eaglepicher Technologies (81855), P/N; MAR-9327. Parties interested in becoming an approved source for this NSN must submit the appropriate information as outlined in Proc Notes L04 and M06, Conditions for Evaluation and Acceptance of offers for Part Numbered items. (full text available on DIBBS). The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 335911 with a business size of 1250. This SOURCES SOUGHT notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. No solicitation exists at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capacity of qualified businesses that are capable of executing this potential contract. The Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
