- Page 2 of 2 Request for Information / Sources Sought Industry Input Needed This is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research to determine the availability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or small business vendors capable of providing the requirement for conference room switcher with integrated transmitter and audio embedding, receiver extender, and ancillary parts, cables, and mounts; removal of existing equipment; installation; programming; and a three year warranty, as described in detail in the attached DRAFT Product Description. This RFI/Sources Sought does not guarantee the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Request for Proposal (RFP). However, if an RFQ/RFP is issued, VA will follow the Contracting Order of Priority in accordance with Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 819.7004. Based on responses to this RFI, if multiple SDVOSBs, VOSBs, or other small businesses are determined to be capable of providing the full requirement, VA will issue an RFQ/RFP as a set-aside to the applicable socioeconomic category. If you have the ability to provide the entire solution outlined in the PWS, please respond to this sources sought with a statement of capabilities. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is currently assessing the acquisition strategy based on responses to the market research RFI. If you have the ability to provide the brand name products outlined in the Product Description, please respond to this RFI with a statement of capabilities, including recommended North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and your company s size determination under the recommended NAICS. Further, if the requirement outlined in the Product Description is available from your company under a General Services Administration (GSA) contract, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), or other contract vehicle, please let us know in the response. Disclaimer This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking quotations or proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ/RFP, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires a solution for a portable (mobile) Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge issuance kit/solution. See the attached DRAFT Product Description. Please note that requirements defined to date may change before a final RFQ/RFP is released. RFI requirements are as follows: Please review the attached Draft Product Description and advise the Government if your company is capable of providing the entire requirement outlined in the Product Description. Please provide a recommended NAICS code and your organization s size status under the recommended NAICS. Submit responses and related information via email to: Kari.Cozzens@va.gov by 11:00 A.M.
