Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Aqua Pure 495 Rotterdam Industrial Park, Schenectady, NY 12306. The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018 with a provision for two (2) option years. This requirement is to provide a service contract for the sanitization and maintenance of the Aqua Pure reverse osmosis unit and three (3) portable Marcor osmosis units to include: a) Monthly RO and loop sanitization b) Monthly portable RO sanitization c) Quarterly RO cleanings d) Monthly portable RO cleanings e) Monthly cleaning reports f) All travel, labor, and all necessary parts (pre-filters, post filters, nephros filters, carbon tanks, and anti-scalant liquid) For the Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716. Aqua Pure is the only known provider since the Aqua Pure reverse osmosis is proprietary and maintenance can only be provided by Aqua Pure. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
