Description
MNIS User Support, Mod 014 Modification 014 incorporates into the order the contractor's proposed solution for Multi-National Information Sharing (MNIS) User Support for Option Period 2 through Option Period 6 in support of USSOUTHCOM via ITSS Order Number ID02140034. MNIS support is within the general scope of the order, the Performance Work Statement for which states: "The scope of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) encompasses all aspects of the USSOUTHCOM (SC) Theater-wide Enterprise Information Technology Services Support Contract (EITSSC)." The bulk of requirements for performance of the MNIS User Support were removed (struck) by the Government by mistake from the PWS during the solicitation phase. References to MNIS remained in the PWS, but the full User Support requirement which is the subject of this mod was accidentally removed from the PWS because the Government was under the assumption that Columbia MNIS was being terminated. The removal of the MNIS User Support effort, via removal of Paragraph 5.1.10.2.2 was a mistake on the part of the Government. It was a legitimate requirement of the severable order awarded in 2015, and the requirement documents and order were corrected to reflect this, via Mod 002, which added MNIS support only for the Base Period and Option Period 1, after which time the Government expected it would be replaced. This mod, 014, assumes MNIS User Support will be needed for the balance of the life of the order. The price of order modification 014, adding MNIS User Support for Option Period 2 through Option Period 6, is $2,077,766.40.
