Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Asheville (VAMC) located at 1100 Tunnel Road in Asheville, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for ambulance services. The contractor shall provide ambulance service 24 hours a day as needed for eligible beneficiaries. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-16-Q-0453 will be issued on or about July 3, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2017 (or date of award) through Sep 30, 2018 or the base period, with two (2) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 621910 Ambulance Service with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 million. The classification code is V226. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
