Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD), San Diego, CA intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price contract for structural repairs to six (6) individual structures in the Surface Warfare Officers School Live Firefighter Training Complex. The requirement is located at Naval Base San Diego, San Diego, CA. This is not an RFP. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number N62473-17-R-1410 and is expected to be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) at https://www.neco.navy.mil on or around July 18, 2017. This procurement will be a 100% COMPETITIVE 8(A) SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238120 with a small business size standard of $15 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the construction magnitude of this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The work includes structural repairs to six (6) individual structures in the Surface Warfare Officers School Live Firefighter Training Complex. Any contract award will be based on low price. The Government intends to post all notices/amendments related to this solicitation on the NECO website and the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. All interested parties must be registered at the NECO and FBO websites in order to obtain the solicitation documents and all information regarding the solicitation. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to check the website(s) daily for any updates/amendments. All Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov to be considered for contract award. It is highly encouraged for Offerors to begin the SAM registration process as early as possible.
