- THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) in order to gather data from industry on performing full food services at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a possible future acquisition. This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. No award will be made from this RFI and the Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. SYNOPSIS: Perform full food service at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL: •1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The contractor shall perform the requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), conform to the professional standards identified and follow all applicable instructions and directives as identified in this PWS. Contractor tasks include the following: Facility Management; cooking, food preparation, serving and replenishing food; cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; preparing vegetables and fruits for the salad bar; tables cleaning and bussing carts in dining areas; performing cashier services, handling foods, supplies, and equipment; maintaining quality control; ensuring operator maintenance and minor/major repair of food service equipment; and, in the event of contingency or installation directed exercise, perform all required tasks to meet mission requirements including extended or continuous service hours at specified locations. Requirement: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in performing full food service per the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The government is requesting that interested concerns capable of satisfying the requirement in the attached PWS furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), CAGE Code and DUNS Number. (3) Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached PWS? (4) Provide no more than three (3) references for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contracts performed in the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address for each references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value and period of performance. Contracts must be the same or similar to the items described in the PWS. (5) Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
