Description
Moose Creek Sluice Gate Reference Drawings Moose Creek Stems and Nuts Solicitation Physical Support Branch; Maintenance and Repair unit, request the award of a contract for the purchase of sluice gate stems and thrust nuts. The Maintenance and Repair unit is using the stems and thrust nuts, in performing operations for Moose Creek Dam, sluice gate repair. This contract is to supply four sluice gate stems and four thrust nuts to the specifications listed below for the Maintenance and Repair unit in support of repairs to Moose Creek Dam Project. Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide all labor, plant, and material required to furnish and deliver four sets of 1-3/4 inch diameter stainless steel operating stems and four sets of bronze thrust nuts as specified below. The thrust nuts shall accommodate non-rising stems. The operating stems shall be fabricated from stainless steel conforming to ASTM A276, type 316, Condition A. The operating stems may be out of plumb a maximum of 1/16th of an inch over any 10 foot length. Four each bronze thrust nuts are required. The bronze thrust nuts shall accommodate a non-rising stem. The bronze thrust nuts shall be constructed from material conforming to ASTM B584, CA 865. The new stems and thrust nuts must function with the existing operators shown in the reference drawings. (See attached Reference Drawing) The Contractor is required to furnish and deliver all of the stems and thrust nuts to the specified delivery location within 14 calendar days of contract award.
