- This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is for market research purposes only and to give industry prior knowledge of an intended acquisition and determine the availability of potential vendors with the capabilities and desire to provide the services detailed below. Potential offers are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Jonathan Santangelo at jonathan.santangelo@va.gov. Any responses will be used to determine the proper acquisition strategy for this potential near-future government purchase of services. Background: This is an acquisition for Internet data services for Broadband Internet Services and Static IP addresses at various Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefit Administration locations. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, tools, material, and equipment to perform all requirements for a particular office location under addendum A. A prospective Statement of Work (SOW) is attached for vendors to further determine their ability to provide such services for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This action will be acquired under NAICS: 517110, Wire Telecommunication Carriers. Size Standard 1500 employees. Potential vendors are requested to provide the following information to the contact listed: Offeror s name, address, point of contact name, phone number and e-mail address. Company s DUNS number, NAICS code, and confirmation of enrollment in SAM (www.sam.gov) and Duns and Bradsteet (www.dnb.com). Company s business size and type of small business if applicable. If it is a veteran owned business is it registered on www.vetbiz.gov. Offeror s interest in bidding on the solicitation. List all manufacturer names for which your firm is an authorized dealer if applicable. A brief capability statement for the Government to be able to determine if the vendor can meet the requirement described above. This statement is not expected to be a Request for Quote and will not restrict the Government in determining its acquisition approach. Submissions by potential vendors will be evaluated solely on the basis of determining possible set-aside for the Federal government s small business program or to conduct an unrestricted procurement. Other vendors besides small businesses are invited to respond as well to aid the Government in determining the current marketplace for competition of this type of requirement. This RFI is for informational and planning purpose only and does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a Request for Quotes and subsequent contract awards. The Government will not pay for information solicited by this notice nor will respondents be notified of the results of any internal evaluation done.
