Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1) Solicitation VA118A-17-Q-0386 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). 2) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on a restricted basis, as a total set-aside for small business vendors. 3) The proposed action is to establish a single award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for the purchase and installation of new kiosks, and maintenance for all kiosks. Delivery orders will be placed against this contract on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis. 4) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 effective January 19, 2017. 5) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334118 - Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing with associated small business size standard of 1,000 Employees. 6) Please see the attached Performance Work Statement for further details regarding project requirements. 7) The estimated award is August 1, 2017 with a five year ordering period to end July 31, 2022. 8) All questions in regard to this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Specialist, Aaron Waltersdorff, via email at aaron.waltersdorff@va.gov. Questions are due by 11:59pm EST July 12, 2017. Answers to all questions will be consolidated and posted to FBO. 9) OFFERS ARE DUE ON JULY 21, 2017 BY 11:59PM EST. OFFERS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
