- Statement of Work This is not a solicitation; this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in search of sources for operating a motorcycle and small engine mechanic shop at Luke AFB, AZ. This announcement is for Non-Appropriated funds (NAF) activity; this is a nonappropriated fund requirement and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This requirement does not involve federal tax dollars. The 56 Contracting Squadron, Luke AFB, AZ is issuing this announcement for a NAF motorcycle and small engine mechanic shop concessionaire contract. Contractor will furnish all tools, parts, labor, supplies, equipment and materials (except as noted below) for repair of motorcycles, low speed vehicles, small engine and associated parts and equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Interested parties must be local to Luke Air Force Base. This requirement is unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811111 with a size standard of $7.5M. This SSS is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Interest Parties must be experienced: Technicians must be trained and certified. Administration/Technicians must be trained to ensure timely and accurate customer service including answering of telephones, arranging schedules, preparing cost estimates, written quotes and invoices, all cash handling responsibilities and handling of customer inquiries and concerns. In addition to the quote/proposal, the Contractor shall submit a list of at least one but not more than three of the most relevant contracts performed for Federal or commercial agencies within the last three (3) years to include names and telephone numbers of individuals who can be contacted to discuss the information provided.
