Description
Drawings for Life Raft This acquisition is for a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for the manufacture and delivery of the Inflatable, 20 Man (F-2B) Life Raft. This NSN has Qualified Products List (QPL) requirements, QPL# 9131; therefore, the manufacturer for this QPL item must be QPL approved at the time of the contract award. The solicitation number is SPE8EG-17-R-0011 and will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will provide for one (1) contract. The resultant contract will contain a two (2) year base period and three (3) option periods of one (1) year. The contract maximum will be $9,900,000.00. Delivery will be FOB Origin. The Government required delivery schedule is 150 days after date of order. The item to be solicited is considered a hazardous, Critical Safety item. A Contractor First Article Test will be required and the appropriate clauses providing the details will be included in the solicitation. The Berry Amendment and Buy American Act clauses apply. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations procedures will be utilized. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 will be the source selection approach. Numbered notes 1, 9, 23 apply. This synopsis should NOT be considered a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice. The estimated release date of the solicitation is July 19, 2017. The date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available through DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Troop Support. Please see the attachment for the list of drawings.
