- Question & Answer Session: The Government received the following Question: Q: Will the Government release potential subcomponent drawings? A: The Government has provided a technical data package of a source controlled drawing that only defines the form, fit and function. Additional drawings are not required to develop the traveling wave tube. The technical data package that has been provided is considered complete. Amendment 0004 on Solicitation SPRBL1-17-R-0020 is being issued to extend the proposal due date from June 30, 2017 to July 5, 2017. Amendment 0003 on Solicitation SPRBL1-17-R-0020 is being issued to answer a qusetion to the solicitation. Amendment 0002 on Solicitation SPRBL1-17-R-0020 is being issued to extend the proposal due date from June 19, 2017 to June 30, 2017. Amendment 0001 on Solicitation SPRBL1-17-R-0020 is being issued to extend the proposal due date from May 29, 2017 to June 19, 2017. This soliciation is a follow-up to the pre-solicitation released on April 10th, 2017 with a response deadline of April 24th, 2017. Solicitation SPRBL1-17-R-0020 is being issuing as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a three (3) year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinitely-Quantity (IDIQ) type of contract with an estimated maximum contract value of $3,467,375.41. The subject requirement is unrestricted. The proposed acquisition is for the procurement of a Traveling Wave Tube, NSN: 5960-01-349-5380, P/N: SM-D-800074. The Government is not in possession of a complete Technical Data Package for this item. Release of the source control drawing is subject to a verification of the Joint Certification Program through the interested parties CAGE. The contract will have a guaranteed minimum of $10,000. FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, will apply to this acquisition. NSNs 5960-01-323-6432 and 5960-01-089-3554 have been found to be interchangeable with NSN 5960-01-349-5380.
